Each espresso cup is slip cast in porcelain from a handmade mould and hand finished in our Brown Hill Creek studio. Variations in texture and marbling make every cup unique. That's the nature of making by hand.

  • Every piece starts with an idea. From there it goes into digital design software, gets 3D printed as a prototype, refined until it's right, and then cast into a handmade plaster mould. Porcelain slip is poured, the piece is released, trimmed, and finished by hand. Fired twice, first as bisqueware then to cone 10. No two pieces are exactly alike. That's not an accident. That's the point.
